Clicking on the button below will open up an application form. You’ll see several fields to be completed before your entry for the 100% Journalism contest is submitted.
The entry form is self-explanatory but here are a few things to keep in mind. Keep it brief, keep it specific and make it sing. Our judges are hard-bitten, cigar-chomping, newsroom types. The contest is open to all, regardless of background, but the judges will take into account your experience so convince them of your ability to make your idea happen. Remember that all prize money goes toward hiring Ebyline freelancers to report, write, shoot and edit so be sure to detail how your proposal will use freelancers to meet your goals. If you are selected as a finalist, the judges will ask for more details on how you plan to execute your 100% Journalism project.
Apply from Sept. 12 to Oct. 12, 2012.
The application period is now closed.
